disoriented

eventful monday...
woke up with my still-wet-hair, wasn't able to blow dry it last night...
my mindset was i'd drive raph to school early...raph's teacher told him last friday he can't be late for school anymore...
when i got down the stairs, so happy to see raph sitting at the sofa ready for school, in his uniform, but just finishing his milk...
had a quick breakfast...and hurriedly went to the shower...
while at the restroom, i got a call from our associate producer, and it went:

yap: ate ruth san na po kayo?
me: huh bakit?
yap: magro-roll na po...maaga po taping natin ngayon.
me: huh? oh my god! sshocks akala ko 3pm pa...as in ngayon na?
yap: opo, andito na po si chairman!
me: oh mygod! di ba ngtext kayo?
yap: opo, ang text ko po, 9am roll.
me: oh my gaaahd! sorry sorry, 3pm ang nagregister sa mind ko...
yap: akala ko po tulog pa kayo...sige kami na po ni jason bahala!
me: hahatid ko pa lang sana si raph sa school ngayon, shocks sige didiretso na ko diyan.
(end of call)

i checked my fone, yap was right, she texted me the day before, part of the message says: 3 eps, 9am roll...oh my gosh! probably yung number na 3 ang nagregister sa kin and thought of it as 3pm just like our usual sked.

so i had no choice but to let ate josie and yaya bring raph to school in a cab...raph told me before he left, mom i'll miss you! i said, sorry hon, i'm supposed to be at ABS now...i have to really be in a hurry!

traffic sa edsa, i knew i'd miss the first game's opening & elimination round. was so apologetic to my AP & EP...kahiya! i was so disoriented on the first day of the week! first time lang naman nangyari to, pero kakaloka, what if that happened to me before a prentation with the tv heads or a crucial taping. i can't imagine!

then in our second game, our guests were the cast of the upcoming teleserye "LOBO" including of course papa piolo & angel. how can you ignore papa p?!! hay grabe! he definitely made my day...what a way to turn around my monday booboos!

got a kiss from him, had a little chit-chat at kinamusta niya ang inaanak niyang si raphael; angel on the other hand was so courteous that she introduced herself to me and shook my hand. 2 beautiful people on the set, everyone was just so delighted! as if di pa kami sanay sa stars! first time ksi ni papa p at ni angel sa gknb. kaya halos lahat nagpa-picture! i remember papa p. played na before nung kauna-unahang version ng game knb with kris, remember prue? he won i think 300 thousand pesos for charity during the first birthday special of kris on the show where only the "sikats" and the closest to kris played: sharon cuneta, richard gomez, pops fernandez, zsazsa padilla and papa piolo.

so un lang ang layo na ng narating ng kwento ko...disoriented na naman ata ako hehe!

it's not monday but i'm having monday blues....

what do they say when you're not in your usual sunshiny mood upon waking up? when it felt like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed? that happened to me today...

was supposed to wake up a little bit earlier, raph's first day of school in 2008, my first day at work too...
craved for icecream so i took a small portion from the fridge, didn't like the sandwich i made, didn't like our viand, wasn't in the mood to have coffee, ended up not eating breakfast at all...

took long for me and dadu to wake up raph, he too seemed un-excited to go back to our usual routine after a long holiday break...he said he didn't miss school. i was anxious of the time, didn't want him to be late of course. he said he didn't want to go back to school yet because he would have no time to play with his toys anymore, so i said we have to be in school early so he could still play with his classmates before the bell rings, because they're allowed to have a little "playtime" if they come a little bit earlier for their classes. he soo wanted to play with big legos and megablocks found in their classroom. then we had to drag him to eat his breakfast before taking a bath.

my "bad" morning didn't end there...had a petty argument with ronald over an unnecessary comment he said. which made me said to myself, while taking a shower, "haay, another year of hell!"... that was sooo NEGATIVE! i didn't know if he heard that, how could i have said that? it's like attracting negative energies for the year ahead...i'm taking it back now! POSITIVITY is what we all need!

i was impatient the whole morning...irate at yaya's lack of sense of urgency. she was sooo slow preparing raph. and then the car is dirty...just because i wasn't able to tell ate josie to clean it up, she didn't even have the initiative to clean it, when we've long asked her a favor that if we didn't have time magpa-car wash, she should just have the car cleaned in the morning... complaints, complaints! i'm starting to be grumpy...gahd not at the start of the year!

have a 1pm general assembly...better finish this post now, don't want to be late. i guess it's not yet late to start my day right...oh why does it seem hard to even smile? gosh i'm dreading another thing...sana may parking. whoaa not again paige...think positive! and if things don't turn out the way i want to, okay lang yan! talking to myself now.

new year ramblings...
(discovered late that this is my 50th post, hurrah!)

instead of the usual gathering of the family by midnight for the medya noche,
we decided to celebrate the coming of the new year as early as lunchtime of december 31...
kahit wala na parents namin, we had to be together pa rin siyempre sa mga ganitong okasyon...
our first new year without the both of them...

the venue: my ate lorna's place...(last year sa bahay ang new year's eve ng family)...
yummy food grabe- all sorts of seafoods, grilled food etc., pati deserts... chef kasi ang host...
exchanged new year's gifts after lunch...(nagbunutan kami nung christmas eve)
everybody's having fun...
everyone got a gift from us nung x'mas...so those who weren't able to join us nung christmas eve at home ngayon lang natanggap gifts nila...
kainan na naman at snacktime...haay grabe na to, ibang food na naman!...
my ate mel's family had to leave early to spend the new year's eve with her in-laws...
by 6pm, ang host busy na naman preparing the medya noche: kare-kare, grilled spareribs, kaldereta, sugpo, steamed lapu-lapo, etc...
mass at 10pm with the family, walking distance lang ang church sa village...
nakakatawa, si raph had to excuse himself during the mass coz he had to go to the restroom, dahil siguro sa dami kinain, kaya umuwi sila ni yaya middle of the mass...
mass ended around 11:30pm...
fireworks galore then medya noche, then fireworks ulit...
chikahan to the max till past 2am...
overnight na don kahit gusto sana ni ronald umuwi para daw ma-ilawan ang bahay...
woke up at 10am the following day...
suman & mangoes plus leftovers for breakfast...
the kids including my nieces & nephews wanted to go to global fun...
3 cars on convoy...
grabe tao sa global fun di na kami tumuloy, sa MOA na lang pero crowded pa rin...
we went instead to serendra at the fort...
first stop: krispy kreme then ikot-ikot, picture-picture, kulitan...
buffet dinner...
ronald wanted to buy me sanuk sandals...
uwian na by 9:30 pm...
sarap mag-rest sa bed, but ronald chanced upon "snakes on a plane"...
so had to leave the room, em scared of snakes di ba?...
coffee and wifi na lang sa baba...
kaya eto ako, after checking my mails and some websites tsaka ko naisipang mag-blog...
tamad pa ko to upload my pics, kaya next time na lang...
