mochi balls instead of a cake, why not?

Instead of the usual birthday cake, I uniquely gave Ronald 2 boxes of Mochi Balls for his birthday- they are Japanese glutinous rice cakes that are traditionally given as gifts on New Year's Day in Japan. If that's the case, they must bring in some good fortune! :)

Here's my recent discovery...
Dezato's Chocolate Trufle Filled Mochi
. A box contains 12 different flavored mochi balls. What we had were milk chocolate, white w/ walnuts, dark chocolate, choco peanut butter, white choco with green tea which I super like! And of course I’m biased with dark chocolate! Yummy! Hubby liked them too. Truly mouth-watering!

nice packaging! (got these photos on the net)

It was Kris A. who introduced me to mochi balls… she immediately liked them when a friend who came from Japan gave her that as pasalubong (which she shared with us). From then on, her showbiz friends who knew of her liking for mochi balls, would bring her some whenever they’d have shows in Japan.

Buti na lang I didn’t have to go to Japan anymore hehe…Lani, my kumare, texted me that she saw on Boy & Kris that mochi balls are now available in Manila in a place called Dezato. She ordered for me, along with hers, and we went there last Friday to pick up our orders. Thanks Mare!

A New Baby for Beh's Birthday

There’s a welcome addition to the family…another baby boy!

It's a birthday gift that hubby had earlier asked for.
How can you not grant such a wish? A new baby is definitely a blessing!

Meet DACKI, just 2 months old… his name short for his breed dachshund was given by the birthday boy of course...that's how i wanted to call him too.

Beh originally asked for a pug, and I too like a pug for a pet. But after a little research, I found out a pug is notorious for being a heavy shedder (not quite ideal when you have a little kid who’s prone to acquiring asthma).

The first time I carried Dacki in a pet shop at Tiendesitas, I immediately liked him. I felt I was carrying a real baby…he’s so malambing and lovable ! I never had a pet dog my whole life and I was actually bitten by a dog when I was a child, hence my fear of big dogs or dogs in general. But this time, it felt different…basta!

And more importantly, Raph liked him too…he's afraid of big dogs too. Dacki's small size and proportion make him so cute and unique! And because of his short hair and good temperament, low maintenance pa. Definitely bagay for us first-time dog owners and for our lifestyle. We stayed quite a bit longer in the shop, observed him well and read about duchshunds first before I went on buying. Research says they are quite independent, affectionate and good with children.

But would the birthday boy like him? Definitely! He was surprised to see Dacki on the eve of his birthday. This photo (and supposedly more) can tell that they too clicked! Excellent! A great birthday gift indeed! Happy birthday my Bebeh love!

(Encountered a problem/error while uploading more photos for this entry…that’s why it’s bitin, there has to be a full shot of Dacki, photos of Dacki with Kuya Raph, with me and us together as a family…will post more soon. Thanks Jillm for the great photos.)

let this moment linger...
when we're one, just havin' fun!

while our hands are held together

raph's overjoyed and soo in awe

Raph's 5th Birthday Prix (backtrack)

here's the long-overdue posting of raph's birthday celebration...
for his birthday party in school, i customized invites that kinda resembled racing flags, (with the help of ninong jillmer) complete with his picture riding a real hotwheels-inspired car, and written on it was "ronan raphael's grand birthday prix"...sayang i wasn't able to take a photo.

the food, simple lang, mcdo chicken & spag, pizza hut cheezypops and chocolate cupcakes courtesy of tita ninang as dessert...

since he soo loves cars, his cake has gotta be cars-inspired too!

family picture with his teachers

raph surely had fun celebrating his birthday with his classmates!
more photos of his party at home and then our bora trip coming up!

perfect date

happy V-day everyone!

just came from the "ol 4 luv" concert at the araneta coliseum...with hubby of course, kuya steve-his balikbayan brother from canada and my ate lorna...good concert ang gagaling ng champions! not a bad date afterall...

last sunday, while hubby was in cebu, i got myself a date...i did all the planning and the spending as well. who else but raphael...:)

we first attended the 6pm mass then went to one of his favorite places- the fun ranch! he had so much fun in the choo-choo train, boat ride...and then of course at the play area (i forgot how it's called) where there's a big and wide slide and maze all around. i asked him to just have 30 minutes of play there because we intended to have a massage at the little lamb's pediatric and wellness center after. and i was amazed because when his 30 minutes was up, usually 1 hour would still be "bitin" for him and he would be upset if i tell him time's up, but this time, he listened, got his shoes and came up to me. his EQ is really improving!

at the little lamb's clinic, he first had his hair cut...cute! and then we indulged ourselves in an hour of blissful massage. i thought he would fall fast asleep because he didn't have an afternoon nap but he was awoke the whole time, making kulit with the masseuse...we were side by side each other. and nakaka-aliw because he even reminded the therapist assigned to me to be careful with my foot because i got sprained! ang saya! para akong may kasamang matanda hehe! he really knows how to take care of me.

we finished late yet he was still in high spirits...we ate pa at tiendesitas before we headed home.

when he was saying goodnight to dadu on the phone, he said "dad okay ang date namin ni mom, inggit ka?" haha! funny boy!

for me, our date wasn't just "okay" , it was perfect! and another perfect date coming this weekend...this time, with my 2 boys, the three of us. we're excited! BORA get ready! can't wait to have our first BORA experience, i mean together! what could be more perfect than that?

year of the rat or year of the LORD?

it's Chinese New Year today!
but for most of us, 38 days have already been written down on the pages of year 2008.

and still, i am trying to figure out if 2007, the year of the pig, has been a great year for me.

aside from recalling what happened and what i've gone through the recent past year, i couldn't help but trace back the previous years. what a roller-coaster ride it was!

2001...transferred to tv production after working in the news & current affairs for 4 years;
...Kris Aquino got us to join her team; she was about to pilot a new show then after a short stint with Balitang Kris...never imagined she would become a close friend and kumare...it's only last year that we had a professional "separation" when she left GKNB?
...and it just occured to me now that after almost 6 years in the entertainment department, the closest friends i have now are still the ones i've had then when i was in the news dept.

2002...got married! whoa! life-changing indeed!

2003...gave birth to raphael, God's best gift to me. experienced separation anxiety when it was time for me to go back to work after a month. up to now, my best life moments are spent with him.

2004...grabe adjustments sa marriage at sa pagiging mommy...

2005...april- mom was diagnosed to have cancer. i was in a taping when my sis broke the news to me, i was speechless! :(
...busiest life at work and worst year at my marriage! was working as a writer for 3 daily shows simultaneously, one of my headwriters told me, "that can't be possible, wala pang nakagawa ng ganyan", but i was able to pull it through. ewan nga ba kung paano ko nagawa! but that helped sustained my mom's medication.
...october- lost mom (saddest day of my life) and then hubby left for the US for 6 months
...for months, i couldn't put myself to sleep or if ever i do, i would wake up at 3-4 am thinking about my mom, crying, was feeling all alone.
...at the same time raph was missing his dad, that was very emotionally difficult.
...saddest christmas ever! la na ngang nanay, malayo pa'ng asawa...aaaay.

2006...resigned from "homeboy", after 5 yrs of doing a daily morning talk show since "talk tv, morning girls" etc.; difficult decision but i appreciated more the rewards--more time with raph, less stress, di na ko nangangarag from one show to another...actually sobrang na-relieve ako! unexplainable!
...april- hubby came back from the US
...june- raphael's first taste of school
...december- raph's first travel out of the country/first family trip abroad-one of our best family moments ever!

2007...feb-mommy-in law passed away; first trip to canada with family; first snow experience!
...march- raph was awarded "outstanding student" in nursery 1; gano'n pala feeling pag nagsabit ng medal sa anak...my parents must be so proud of me! 11 years sila pabalik-balik sa stage para sabitan ako ng medalya hehe!
...april- i was granted a european visa and my 3 months-leave of absence from abs.
...june-my 5th wedding anniversary and what a coincidence that my father passed away on this same day! (lowest point in my life)
...sept- i was given a new show assignment: 1 vs 100 (in addition to game knb?) and which gave me a different experience & challenge!
...oct- was promoted as headwriter of Game KNB?

there have been many other trials that came my way which almost made me gave up...but of course, i do not discount God's outpouring of blessings as well...i thank Him for giving me strength and for making me accept things as they happen! Grabe, di ko lam pano ko nalampasan lahat! for everything that has happened i know there's an underlying reason...pero marami pa rin akong tanong, yung iba di ko pa nahahanapan ng sagot. but i know in time, He'll provide me with the answers.

according to the chinese calendar, it's the year of the rat...and last night which was the new year's eve, just to make sure that luck would be on our side, we had our hair cut, we were wearing red, we had tikoy and round fruits on the table, house was fully-lit...for whatever it's worth! sabi nga nila walang mawawala kung maniniwala sa chinese traditions!

but as what my friend mitch said, "would you like to call it the year of the rat...or the year of the lord?" oh it think that sounds better! she was right, i'd rather rely on the Lord for my luck in life than on a rat.

38 days and counting...and from now on, i'll call 2008 as the year of the Lord! and i'm positive that the Lord will give me and my family a fruitful, peaceful and abundant year not just this 2008 but in the years ahead!

happy birthday my dearest!

just a few hours and five years ago, or february 3, 2003, 2:03 am to be exact, i gave birth to an angel, a 6.7 lbs. baby, whom we named ronan raphael....it was at st. luke's medical center via normal operation and under the care of my favorite OB in the whole world, dra. elsie pascua...(i only have one though hehe, i just love her!)

this after a couple of false alarms- you know having been brought to the delivery room and later sent home because the baby isn't coming out soon yet. gosh i remember every detail of it...the frustration and the embarassment hehe maybe i was overly excited!

i had to walk around with hubby at UP grounds later that day for an exercise, and then had bleeding the next day which made me went back to the hospital... but after some tests, i was sent home, again! that's why late afternoon that day, despite the fact that i was already in so much pain and having consistent contractions, i didn't want to go to the hospital anymore out of trauma maybe or out of fear that i'd be sent home again. it really took a while before i was convinced to go back to st. luke's.

when we got to the hospital, i couldn't even enter the delivery room, i kept walking around, walked up and down the stairs despite the labor pains, just to make sure na this is it...manganganak na ko! it was past 9 pm when i was brought in the delivery room, 5cm na pala, and after an IV injection at around 10 pm, the next thing i knew, i was already at the recovery room....didn't remember any labor pains at all during the giving- birth-process because i was asleep the whole time, but i remember having seen the bright lights above me, those you see in operating rooms. but i was too groggy so i succumbed to sleep again immediately after. that's why i said, "ganon lang pala manganak parang di ako nahirapan!" i was just lucky and blessed i guess, thank GOD!

when i woke up at the recovery room, i immediately touched my tummy and was so relieved that it's not protruding anymore, a clear sign that i had my baby delivered indeed! i wanted to see him but i was first brought to my room where hubby waited all night...he said baby is okay and he's at the nursery room. after some more rest, i was brought to the nursery to have my baby breastfed...i swear i remember every bit of detail despite the fact that i was still groggy then.

the first time i saw my baby, honestly there was no connection yet, when i carried him and kept staring at his face, while the nurse guided me how to breastfeed...it was then that i felt an overflowing joy and immense love for my baby...it's unexplainable! only one word to describe it i guess-- MIRACLE! it was a miracle indeed to have brought out life in this world, someone to love and take care of for the rest of my life. he really changed my life BIGTIME!

and now, he's already 5! unbelievable! how time really flies so fast! yesterday i reviewed him for his final exams which will start on monday...grabe na their lessons at nursery II! if only i could always have time to teach him, but i'm doing my best! kakaloka coz he would always ask for a break, and i was pressured to finish everything in one day so he can have the whole Sunday spent solely for his birthday celebration! for now, i'll just keep my mind worry-free, he's a smart boy, i know he can do well in his exams.

he's just so excited about his birthday that he even waited for 12 o'clock midnight and hear us all in the house greet him a "happy birthday" before he went to sleep. he's not having a grand kiddie party though, he already celebrated in school last friday with his classmates. we'll just have a family celebration with a few of my friends, mostly his ninangs and their kids. he's excited to open the gifts he got from his classmates last friday! uy tumataas na ang kanyang EQ because he was able to wait for his actual birthday before he opens them hehe which is happening later today!

after 5 years, i know still have flaws at parenting...of course i can't be perfect! but i'm trying and everyday...i ask God to bless and guide me so i can be the best mother that i can be for raphael, my superboy, my LIFE!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY my dearest, my most precious in this world! your dadu and mommy here love you immensely!

(will post pics next time)

disoriented

eventful monday...
woke up with my still-wet-hair, wasn't able to blow dry it last night...
my mindset was i'd drive raph to school early...raph's teacher told him last friday he can't be late for school anymore...
when i got down the stairs, so happy to see raph sitting at the sofa ready for school, in his uniform, but just finishing his milk...
had a quick breakfast...and hurriedly went to the shower...
while at the restroom, i got a call from our associate producer, and it went:

yap: ate ruth san na po kayo?
me: huh bakit?
yap: magro-roll na po...maaga po taping natin ngayon.
me: huh? oh my god! sshocks akala ko 3pm pa...as in ngayon na?
yap: opo, andito na po si chairman!
me: oh mygod! di ba ngtext kayo?
(end of call)

i checked my fone, yap was right, she texted me the day before, part of the message says: 3 eps, 9am roll...oh my gosh! probably yung number na 3 ang nagregister sa kin and thought of it as 3pm just like our usual sked.

so i had no choice but to let ate josie and yaya bring raph to school in a cab...raph told me before he left, mom i'll miss you! i said, sorry hon, i'm supposed to be at ABS now...i have to really be in a hurry!

traffic sa edsa, i knew i'd miss the first game's opening & elimination round. was so apologetic to my AP & EP...kahiya! i was so disoriented on the first day of the week! first time lang naman nangyari to, pero kakaloka, what if that happened to me before a prentation with the tv heads or a crucial taping. i can't imagine!

then in our second game, our guests were the cast of the upcoming teleserye "LOBO" including of course papa piolo & angel. how can you ignore papa p?!! hay grabe! he definitely made my day...what a way to turn around my monday booboos!

got a kiss from him, had a little chit-chat at kinamusta niya ang inaanak niyang si raphael; angel on the other hand was so courteous that she introduced herself to me and shook my hand. 2 beautiful people on the set, everyone was just so delighted! as if di pa kami sanay sa stars! first time ksi ni papa p at ni angel sa gknb. kaya halos lahat nagpa-picture! i remember papa p. played na before nung kauna-unahang version ng game knb with kris, remember prue? he won i think 300 thousand pesos for charity during the first birthday special of kris on the show where only the "sikats" and the closest to kris played: sharon cuneta, richard gomez, pops fernandez, zsazsa padilla and papa piolo.

so un lang ang layo na ng narating ng kwento ko...disoriented na naman ata ako hehe!

it's not monday but i'm having monday blues....

what do they say when you're not in your usual sunshiny mood upon waking up? when it felt like you woke up on the wrong side of the bed? that happened to me today...

was supposed to wake up a little bit earlier, raph's first day of school in 2008, my first day at work too...
craved for icecream so i took a small portion from the fridge, didn't like the sandwich i made, didn't like our viand, wasn't in the mood to have coffee, ended up not eating breakfast at all...

took long for me and dadu to wake up raph, he too seemed un-excited to go back to our usual routine after a long holiday break...he said he didn't miss school. i was anxious of the time, didn't want him to be late of course. he said he didn't want to go back to school yet because he would have no time to play with his toys anymore, so i said we have to be in school early so he could still play with his classmates before the bell rings, because they're allowed to have a little "playtime" if they come a little bit earlier for their classes. he soo wanted to play with big legos and megablocks found in their classroom. then we had to drag him to eat his breakfast before taking a bath.

my "bad" morning didn't end there...had a petty argument with ronald over an unnecessary comment he said. which made me said to myself, while taking a shower, "haay, another year of hell!"... that was sooo NEGATIVE! i didn't know if he heard that, how could i have said that? it's like attracting negative energies for the year ahead...i'm taking it back now! POSITIVITY is what we all need!

i was impatient the whole morning...irate at yaya's lack of sense of urgency. she was sooo slow preparing raph. and then the car is dirty...just because i wasn't able to tell ate josie to clean it up, she didn't even have the initiative to clean it, when we've long asked her a favor that if we didn't have time magpa-car wash, she should just have the car cleaned in the morning... complaints, complaints! i'm starting to be grumpy...gahd not at the start of the year!

have a 1pm general assembly...better finish this post now, don't want to be late. i guess it's not yet late to start my day right...oh why does it seem hard to even smile? gosh i'm dreading another thing...sana may parking. whoaa not again paige...think positive! and if things don't turn out the way i want to, okay lang yan! talking to myself now.

HaPpY neW yEaR!!!

new year ramblings...
(discovered late that this is my 50th post, hurrah!)

instead of the usual gathering of the family by midnight for the medya noche,
we decided to celebrate the coming of the new year as early as lunchtime of december 31...
kahit wala na parents namin, we had to be together pa rin siyempre sa mga ganitong okasyon...
our first new year without the both of them...

the venue: my ate lorna's place...(last year sa bahay ang new year's eve ng family)...
yummy food grabe- all sorts of seafoods, grilled food etc., pati deserts... chef kasi ang host...
exchanged new year's gifts after lunch...(nagbunutan kami nung christmas eve)
everybody's having fun...
everyone got a gift from us nung x'mas...so those who weren't able to join us nung christmas eve at home ngayon lang natanggap gifts nila...
kainan na naman at snacktime...haay grabe na to, ibang food na naman!...
my ate mel's family had to leave early to spend the new year's eve with her in-laws...
by 6pm, ang host busy na naman preparing the medya noche: kare-kare, grilled spareribs, kaldereta, sugpo, steamed lapu-lapo, etc...
mass at 10pm with the family, walking distance lang ang church sa village...
nakakatawa, si raph had to excuse himself during the mass coz he had to go to the restroom, dahil siguro sa dami kinain, kaya umuwi sila ni yaya middle of the mass...
mass ended around 11:30pm...
fireworks galore then medya noche, then fireworks ulit...
chikahan to the max till past 2am...
overnight na don kahit gusto sana ni ronald umuwi para daw ma-ilawan ang bahay...
woke up at 10am the following day...
suman & mangoes plus leftovers for breakfast...
the kids including my nieces & nephews wanted to go to global fun...
3 cars on convoy...
grabe tao sa global fun di na kami tumuloy, sa MOA na lang pero crowded pa rin...
we went instead to serendra at the fort...
first stop: krispy kreme then ikot-ikot, picture-picture, kulitan...
buffet dinner...
ronald wanted to buy me sanuk sandals...
uwian na by 9:30 pm...
sarap mag-rest sa bed, but ronald chanced upon "snakes on a plane"...
so had to leave the room, em scared of snakes di ba?...
coffee and wifi na lang sa baba...
kaya eto ako, after checking my mails and some websites tsaka ko naisipang mag-blog...
tamad pa ko to upload my pics, kaya next time na lang...
to everybody, happy new year!

may we all be blessed with overflowing joy, abundance of wealth, and good health!

Birthday Blast

My birthday was such a blast!

Thanks to my dear hubby ronald who made it extra special! Since I was in Cebu from Nov. 29 to Dec. 2 (Thurs-Sun) i didn't have time to prepare for a celebration. He did it all for me!

Arrived home on the day of my birthday, Dec.2 and i was surprised to see the house fully decorated and the kitchen filled with food, drinks etc. Apparently the day before (Sat) he and Yaya Josie went to Farmers and Shopwise to buy all the stuffs needed for my birthday celebration. It was supposed to be just a family affair but when i found out that there were plenty of food prepared for the day, i figured i should invite my close friends too. Ronald prepared spring rolls/lumpia & special macaroni salad the night before...and prepared the ingredients for the rest of his planned recipes. He still went to work at ASAP, and intended to cook after the live show. He just gave instructions to the helpers.

And true enough, after ASAP, he hurriedly went home, while i was taking a nap becoz i was a bit dizzy from my flight...at kahit pagod na siya diretso sa kitchen. Such energy! All for the love of me hehe!

So aside from the spring rolls and the macaroni salad, he also cooked Szechuan crabs (sweet & spicy), kare-kare, escabecheng lapu-lapu, pancit, chicken drumsticks...lahat yummy! well i cooked too--spaghetti hehe! and i brought lechon from Cebu. Sayang! Wasn't able to take photos of the food.

my heroes

with my kumareng decs and inaanak louiz

Thanks to my St. Paul friends who came with their hubbies and kids... just like last year, your presence made me happy, sabi niyo nga, annual reunion na natin ang birthday ko! Si Zyann lang ang absent coz she was in a news coverage in Batangas...And of course, i missed jet and bennet too. My halliwel friends, hay naku, inindyan nyo ko! My family of course, ever-present! Thanks to you all!

To Raph, who in his own little way, has surprised me with a cutie red balloon... and to Ronald na nag-effort BIGTIME, hihi...BIG THANKS!

flight booboos & bloopers

while senator trillanes and general lim were in the streets of makati calling out the filipino people to withdraw support from GMA government... there i was desperately trying to find ways so i can catch my flight to cebu which seemed impossible with the terrible traffic that the makati standoff has caused.

since i didn't join the rest of the group who earlier convened at abs to take the service van, and no one was to drive me to the airport, i took a cab and braved the heavy traffic...after about 50 mins of almost- not-moving traffic, the cab driver suggested that i take the mrt instead. okay sounds logical! so he brought me back to the mrt station. ayan, for sure mas mabilis na! pero hello ang pila sa tokens matindi rin! it took me about 20 mins just to purchase a token, what with the long queue of people who also took the alternative ride.

i was already near the magallanes station when my EP called to check where i was, they just got to the airport and there was only little time left before boarding. after a bit, haay finally pasay na! which means malapit na ko sa domestic airport, but the way going to domestic road was even more horrible! my EP called again to inform me that they already checked me in and i should just claim my tickets from the lady guard at the gate. sabi ba naman ng EP ko kung malapit na ko, at hindi nagmo-move ang traffic, lakarin ko na lang! huh? maybe i would do so had it not for the rain.

our flight was at 1:40pm , i arrived about or exactly 1:40, i hurriedly went inside to claim my boarding pass, went through the rigorous baggage check...gosh my toiletries were inside my suitcase which i had to handcarry kasi wala nang oras! i feel guilty nakaligtas ako sa strict security procedures, for a while i was questioned dahil sa liquid toiletries na nasa dala kong maleta... then she just asked me, "ano ba gagawin niyo sa cebu?" and when i said "taping po ng deal or no deal" she goes, "ah kasama ka ba nung group ng abs?", "opo!" ...at the back of my mind what i was really thinking was... "imposible nang makasakay pa ko sa eroplano, late na late na ko!"

but this was one instance na good news ang delayed flight! our 1:40pm flight was moved to 2:20pm hahaha! so i made it! even tp who arrived at the airport at exactly 2 pm. we were earlier texting each other that if we don't make it to our flight, we would just take the next available flight together. good thing we wouldn't have to go through the hassle of having our flights re-booked, what if fully-booked ang succeeding flights?

grabe! lagi na lang ako victim err late sa flight hahaha! i remember 3 yrs back, the game knb? team was headed to davao for a taping at eden nature park. for fear that i'd be late for my flight, i took the mrt by myself for the first time, the instruction to me was i alight at the last station and take a cab going to the domestic airport. when the guard was about to check my suitcase, ewan ko ba kung bakit di ko mahanap-hanap ang susi sa lock...haay 15 minutes din akong na-delay, di ko na maalala kung pano ako nakapasok. aaah i think sinira ko na lang ang lock para lang ma-check ng guard ang maleta ko!

eto ang nakakatawa, pagdating sa pasay station, i was clueless that it was time to get out of the train already...
so there i was, still at my seat while everybody else was moving out...i thought may susunod pang station. another set of passengers came in. after a bit, i noticed, the train was moving towards the opposite direction, as in pabalik na sa makati! oh my god!!! kakaloka! kung pwede lang pumara sa mrt ginawa ko na! i had little time left!

i was able to go down from the mrt in magallanes station, no other choice but to take the ever-reliable cab ride going to the airport...besides that it took me so long to take a ride, again traffic was horrendous! and yes with all the circumstances, there was no way i could make it to my flight. i missed my flight! i made some calls and had my flight re-booked but not after more than another 2 boring hours at the airport. haaay!!

after 3 days of taping in davao, time to head back to manila! from eden nature park, it takes about an hour or so to get to the airport. while inside the service van and we were already near the city, i discovered i had left my ticket in my room. Gahhhd!!! NOT AGAIN! i couldn't ask the van to go back or else male-late ang buong grupo! had to re-book my flight again but the next available flight is after more than 3 hours pa! waaaah! grabe na to! i had no book with me, no ipod, no nothing to entertain myself with while waiting at the airport...wala akong kausap, mainit na ulo ko, wala ako gana kumain, i think nagsulat ako nang nagsulat ng mga angst ko sa aking notebook, not the laptop. di pa ata uso wifi non. kaya actually kinda may trauma na ko mga flight flight na ganyan.

pero bakit pag international flight never naman ako na-late, maybe because we allot longer hours prior to departure! at pag personal trips usually pre-planned, there's enough time to do stuffs. oh well...

back to trillanes, because of what transpired, our host almost didn't make it to cebu...they were booked on the 4am flight, but because there was a curfew, kris didn't want to take the risk. all the succeeding flights were fully booked, so our prod heads had to find a private plane for kris and her entourage. wow! kris was supposed to bring josh and baby james to cebu but for security reasons, tita cory had advised against it.

so there...i'll be posting about our cebu trip...and my birthday celebration next time.
